True Devil’s visceral vocals, blazing guitar and scorching rhythm section are everything rock and roll should be – exciting and dangerous with songs that are catchy as HELL.

Drawing inspiration from Alice In Chains, Pantera, Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, Monster Magnet, Velvet Revolver, Motorhead, Anthrax, The Cult and Danzig – True Devil’s sound is still wholly - or should we say unHOLY(!) -their own.

True Devil is a sonic collision of Michigan and Ohio musicians- with bassist Dana “Deadly' and drummer James Trunko cutting their teeth in Detroit bands  Dead In 5, Motor Dolls, Mound Road Engine and more. The married duo is the long-standing rhythm section for acclaimed industrial cult favorites CRUD fronted by Vinnie Dombroski of Sponge. 

Vocalist Mark Stebleton originally hails from Columbus, Ohio. His former band ”Sever It All" achieved success touring nationally with Sevendust, landing a slot on Rock on the Range (now Sonic Temple) and even garnering significant commercial rock radio airplay. 

The respectful departure of guitarists Brent Hall and Jeff Layfield, led Stebleton, Forrester and Trunko on a multi-state search to find a a replacement that would bring the audio and visual FIRE to the band. They found their match in Bryan, Ohio with axe slinger Jude Routen. Simply put - HE SLAYS!

Now with the release of the band’s high wattage debut singles “Rips My Heart Out," “At Day's End,” “Divisible,”  and “S.D.o.N.” (produced by Andy Patalan of 90’s hit makers Sponge) True Devil will be bringing their horn throwing, mosh pit inducing ROCK to a venue near you.
